Candida: The "Missing Link"

Everyone has small, basically harmless amounts of yeast and other negative microorganisms in the intestinal area. When your immune system and other defense capabilities are compromised or biologically harmed, they can multiply very quickly and interfere with digestion, elimination, and many other physiological functions. Allowed to grow year after year, candida and the toxins it produces can enter the bloodstream and travel to other tissues where it weakens the systems of the body. Over 30 million people are contending with candida-related discomfort every day.

When yeast becomes dominant, it begins to present a serious health problem, often resulting in disease and pain. Candida commonly produces localized symptoms by invading the body tissues of the mouth, gastrointestinal tract, vaginal area, urinary tract, prostate gland, skin, fingernails, and toenails. Normally, a healthy immune system would control candida levels. However when circumstances occur that permit excessive yeast overgrowth, such as prolonged use of antibiotics, steroids, birth control pills, and excessive sugar intake, yeast toxins can damage or cripple the immune system - making the body not only vulnerable to yeast, but to bacterial and viral infections as well.

In compromised immune systems, yeast toxins can interfere with normal tolerances, resulting in exaggerated sensitivities to specific substances. Allergic reactions to foods, pollens, odors, chemicals, and cosmetics may result.

The major waste product of yeast is acetaldeyde. Acetaldehyde toxins can be overwhelming to the body. The poison is generated into ethanol and converted by the liver into alcohol. This depletes the body of magnesium and potassium, which reduces cell energy. These two minerals are absolutely essential for tissue strength and integrity. The less oxygen there is in the body, the more alcohol is produced and can give symptoms of being disoriented, dizzy, mentally confused, or "drunk." Even panic attacks, anxiety, depression, irritability, and headaches can be caused by candida. Acetaldehyde can cause excessive fatigue and reduced strength, stamina, clarity of thought, and ambition!

Candida can be directly or indirectly responsible for the following serious conditions:

Depression Malabsorption Indigestion Low sex drive
Diarrhea Epstein-Barr Virus Constipation Skin rash and hives
Food cravings Intestinal pain Mood swings Gas and bloating
Hormonal imbalance Acne Asthma Menstrual problems
Colds and influenza Dizziness Allergies Diabetes
PMS Colitis Heartburn Irritability
Bladder infections Poor memory Over/under weight Hemorrhoids
Adrenal failure Insomnia Thyroid failure Muscle aches
