Cleanse and Detox
According to National Geographic, studies have shown that man pours 700,000 tons of pollutants into the air we breathe every day, ranging from car exhaust and industrial waste to everyday household cleaners, cosmetics, and hair dyes.

Chemicals and toxins, lack of a healthy diet and lack of mild exercise are contributing factors associated with illness, disease, and obesity. Biologically, nature supports the internal cleansing of the body.
Cleansing
or detoxifying is an important part of ayurvedic*
health and it is practiced by hundreds of millions
of people throughout the world. It is called ritucharya.
*Ayurveda is the oldest surviving complete medical system in the world. Derived from its ancient Sanskrit roots - 'ayus' (life) and 'ved' (knowledge) - and offering a rich, comprehensive outlook to a healthy life, its origins go back nearly 5000 years.
Without a nutritionally rich, cleansing diet that helps nourish, revitalize, and restore the body, it will, eventually, fall victim to influenza, colds and cough, allergies, loss of or accelerated appetite, headaches, dizziness, skin problems, allopecia, tremors in the limbs, excessive body odor, constant itching, blurry vision, dry patches on the skin, unexplained muscle and joint pains, a coated tongue, and persistent sore throats. The body becomes subjected to free radical damage, de-oxygenation, yeast, parasites, and excess fibrin and cortisone (stress hormone). The body will sicken, lose its strength and vitality, and age prematurely. Chemicals and toxic materials can suppress the immune system contributing to a dramatic loss of energy and focus.
Chemicals and toxins accumulate in fat tissue. The heavier thechemical and toxic load, the more fat the body will manufacture. Have you ever tried to lose weight only to be disappointed? Well, perhaps now you know the reason why!
Many of us are familiar with
colon cleanses. In addition to the intestines, it is important to cleanse
other major organs. Toxins are stored in the liver, the
intestines, and body fat. If toxic matter can't be broken down
by the small intestines or eliminated by the liver, it begins to
accumulate. Accumulated toxins in the liver can reduce this vital organ's
ability to secrete bile, store vitamins, filter wastes, resist infections,
remove bacteria, make cholesterol, or store glucose. In fact, our liver
performs over 500 life-supporting functions every day that impact every
other organ and system in our bodies. It is easy to understand how
important a healthy liver is to one's health.
While
most cleansing herbal products help cleanse the colon and the digestive
tract with high fiber, it is important to choose a cleansing technology
that does much more, such as cleanse the liver and blood, the sweat glands
and the organs of elimination.
